We are passionate about gathering together and growing together!

And so, we offer several opportunities for people of all ages to grow together in Christ through fellowship as His Body...

     Class Meetings (i.e., Small Groups)

At different times throughout the week, our class meetings (or small groups) gather together in various homes throughout our community. These meetings are crafted to both encourage and empower those who participate in them, and they are scheduled for a short period of weeks at a time (e.g., 4-week studies, 8-week studies, etc.).

     Band Meetings (i.e., "Micro-Discipleship")

At different times throughout the week, we encourage one another to practice what might be thought of as "micro-discipleship" or "banded-discipleship".

The early Methodists referred to these micro-groups as "bands"— groups of 3-5 people (all men or all women) who meet regularly to read Scripture together, pray together, confess sin (and temptations) to one another, hold one another accountable, and "watch over" one another's life in Christ together with an eye toward growing in holiness by actively engaging the grace of God through the means of grace (e.g., worship, study, prayer, service to others, etc.).

     'Sealed' (i.e., Youth Group; a.k.a. 'Sealed Team @ 6')Sealed1

On Sunday evenings at 6:00, our youth (6th grade and up) meet for solid Bible study and fun activities at the home of our youth directors. (There's always food involved!) They also get together periodically for various fun activities (e.g., cookouts, bowling outings, parties, etc.).

     the 'Youts' (a.k.a. the 'Pre-Cogs')

We're currently brainstorming and putting together a plan to have regular Bible study gatherings for our younger children. We affectionately refer to them as the "youts" and will let you know as soon as this plan is ready to launch. These little tappers also get together periodically for various fun activities (e.g., cookouts, bowling outings, parties, etc.)— sometimes with their "elders" (a.k.a. the youth group), sometimes alone, and sometimes with the church as a whole.

     Men's Fellowship Breakfasts

On the second Saturday of each month, our men gather together for fellowship over breakfast. They meet at Rodney's BBQ in Dallas from 10:00 till just before noon. This time of fellowship is loud and festive, so if you plan to make it, plan to have a blast.

     Ladies' Fellowship Lunches

On the third Saturday of each month, our ladies gather together for fellowship over lunch. They meet at McAllister's Deli in Hiram from noon till just before 2:00. Those who make it enjoy their time together, so we think it's a great idea to join them.

We're nomadic again, folks!—
